Is Chauncey even running planned plays for Scoot? Because it feels like he’s just being told to figure it out without screens or set plays.

It’s honestly pretty hard to imagine us ever actually winning a game, but I believe that anything is possible through the power of Shaedon.

Not the worst game ever tbh. We’re playing one of the better teams in the East, so a big loss was expected. Shaedon Toumani and Jabari all looked good. Scoot did not, but I’m going to wait 10 games before I get even a little bit concerned.

Jabari making a case for more minutes
Jabari having the only net positive box +- was weird to see. I still think he plays the game a little too fast/twitchy and plays more reactionary. Needs to learn to controll the flow a bit more. I think if he keeps working out with pg he can get fix that. I saw some flashes of it in the fourth when he tried to pull out a few of PG’s moves. But again, he was letting the defenders dictate those moves so it looked a bit off and he passed out. Would still love him getting more minutes though.
I am straight up not having a good time with this scoot start.
I know a ton of people are going to spam me sighting his age but it’s yet another game with a ton of turnovers and bad shooting.
I just want to see SOMETHING out of this kid, even a flash or a good play.

The three year rebuilding plan just moved up to around six years! That’s fine! It’s our own process. Not sure why we drafted a PG who can’t shoot jump shots. The modern NBA requires that. But hopefully Scoot will be a fantastic sixth man down the road. Could be a great role for him!
Please, please, please get us a coach who knows what he’s doing. He promised to be “the guy he needed” for Scoot, but he’s developing him like he’s Darko.
