Just got back to Civ 5 and could not record any game over the last 3-4 years I was invested in.
Some of ones I got most immersed in were Far Cry 5, Assassin’s Creed Origins/Odyssey, Bioshocks. Invested in a ton of other games but definitely felt most immersed in those.

Im 42. Playing a ton of Nioh 2 and Heroes of the Storm.
Baldur gate 3
Baldurs Gate. Apart from that, my comfort game Civilization VI immerses me if I don’t overdo it.
Returnal. Only game that’s truly engaged me in the past 5 years, I’m 43 now.

Im 42… I got pretty high last night and played Arkham Knight for like two or three hours. Just gliding around singing the Adam West Batman song. It was a lot of fun, didn’t realise it was past 1am.
Im close to 40, does that count? monster hunter world, I wish a game captured me like that again.
