That’s why you bring a tough coach and veterans to push them to their limits. That will be a new approach compared to the last two years :))

Van Fleet and Brooks know what roles they are asked to play and started playing it and will play according to the given instructions by the coach (sometimes shittily but they will do their part). They are not game changers, they are key contributors to the growth of potential star candidates (Alpi and Jalen).

The key point of the season; Alpi and Jalen must learn to play together this year, or probably one of them will be gone next year. Yes, they can be similar to Murray and Jokic, and be their own kinda unique duo selves to write history at some point, but they need to show some signs of that to the league in a short period. Oh, and other teams will be hella scared if they succeed.

Yeah, it won’t be easy, it won’t be perfect in 1 (or 2 or 3 ) year but can show its signs in mid of the season.

Tari’s unexpected injury might have cost a better start.

Jabari or Tari, which is the third wheel? Only time will tell that, but my vote is for Tari because Jabari didn’t show the toughness or the mindset that Tari did until now.

Amen has room to grow, potential is there, you can see it, but if he shows some real playmaking skills very soon, that would be great. We still see not much of Cam, so I’ve no comment for him yet. The coach knows it better. Probably Cam is not ready yet for a reason.

Imo, Bullock is a useless sub (Could be traded if possible by a better shot creator), not sure he will be useful in next games,

The bench needs urgently at least one experienced shot creator (Two if possible). There are lots of cheap shot creators in the market. They usually can’t contribute to defense but 2nd unit very urgently needs them.
