Noticed recently that my laptop has a small buzzy noise coming from around where the power supply plugs in, but it’s there even when unplugged. I really need to put my ear against the device to hear it, but sometimes it has some spikes where I can hear it clearly from a greater distance. I know this sounds funny but it literally sounds like the thing is thinking. Am I freaking out for nothing or I should be concerned? The device is almost new BTW. I assume it may just be the power capacitors, but I want to be sure it won’t be a problem in the future.
