Hey y’all.

Anyone ever go to SoFi for a browns away game before?

I live in San Francisco and I’m thinking about making the drive down.

Only problem, is I don’t wanna have a bad time.

I took my dad to the 2019 49ers/Browns game and it was hellish. My elderly dad got hit with a beer bottle and we were trapped in the ONLY parking lot with drunk driving assholes for nearly 3 hours.

Are SoFi games any better? Is parking as big of a disaster as Levi’s?

Everything surrounding the 49ers is such dog shit.

I will never understand how people have these experiences.

I went to the Browns Chargers game at SoFi in 2021. The stadium is great. It’s actually built into the ground so the parking lot is at the same level as the upper deck.

If you have tickets in the lower bowl there are a ton of drink options/ fancy food options. It’s not cheap but everything is really nice.

As far as the fans, it was at least 60/40 Browns fans and also enjoyed some playful banter from the Chargers fans. Overall it was a great experience.

Going to the game this Sunday as well!

Funny side story now that we are talking about shitty 9ers fans.

I found myself on a frontier flight from SFO to DEN when the 49ers played denver last year.

My flight was full of drunk guys that wouldn’t stop saying “bang bang niner gang” and making gun gestures so they almost got arrested when we landed.

They also wouldn’t stop playing mariachi music at full volume and shout singing out loud on the flight.

    It was wild man.

We think the old sports towns like Cleveland, Philly, Pittsburgh, Detroit, New York, etc. are where the “hard” fans are…

… but California is the only place where fans are consistently getting maimed and killed before and after games.

I mean, it’s still really rare, but it’s always some Angles fan getting shanked at a Dodgers game or something.

I wonder why that is. Are they unable to talk shit in a fun way without escalating?

The Dodgers crowd is VERY different than the Rams stadium.
