How many in the arsenal squad are world class? Define WC and list:

For me world class means the player would not look out of place starting for Citeh, Barca, RM or Bayern.

Saliba , Saka, Odegaard and Rice.

My definition: world-class is a player that’s either the best in his position in the world or very close to the best player in this position.
For example, you could argue that Harry Kane is the best striker in the world right now (and that’s coming from an Arsenal fan!), but Haaland obviously deserves the same label.
With that in mind, I would say Saka, Rice, and Saliba are there. Odegaard and Martinelli are very close, I think Ben White was in that second group last season too.

Saka and Rice are the only definites imo. Saliba can get there soon - he just needs to keep up his current level for another 1 or 2 years.

No one on Arsenal is world class. World Class is like Harry Kane, Rodri, KDB, Salah, not a signle player on Arsenal is even close to that level. They can get there, but they are not there now.

Well I consider Mbappe, Messi, Ronaldo, R9, Neymar, Henry etc as world class not sure if any team in PL has any except for Salah in Liverpool and KBD in City. Halland despite his goal record will not be considered as world class in my opinion as Haaland is not a complete footballer whereas the names I mentioned above are actual world class as they are complete footballers with a legacy which will be talked for generations. Saka and Haaland are still new and young and it will take time to build their legacy, so let’s not media press them as ‘world class’ yet.

I think it’s hard to argue that players are world class when they’re playing their first CL. Their performances over the next few years will determine their status.

For now they’re very good players

Ramsdale apparently was just 6 months ago haha

I’d take any replies from Arsenal fans with a pinch of salt
