The Kyler topic is just as frustrating as the DeAndre Ayton debate was. He’s just as polarizing as DA, The people that love Kyler will not see anything other than his untapped potential, and support him no matter what.
The people that don’t like Kyler will point to his record, height inc.
Just like DA I think people have a loyalty to him because he was a number one overall pick. And just like with DA, you can see the flashes of greatness, but it’s just never consistently there.
Personally, I’m not a Kyler hater or stan… I think the guy is a decent NLF quarterback. I don’t see this vast untapped potential the Stan’s do, and I don’t think he’s a bad as the doomers make him out to be.
Just my 2 cents.
I don’t think this is a fair comparison because the Suns were winning games despite DA’s performance while the Cards have won several games because of K1’s effort.
How many games has K1 pulled a miracle play on 3rd and long or a game winning drive to get this team a win.
OP states he isn’t a Kyler hater, proceeds to argue with everyone in thread about why Kyler is bad.
Outside of both of them being first round picks, I don’t think this is a “fair” debate.
Kyler actually wants to win & goes out every game & puts it all on the line. Kyler isn’t surrounded by the best o-line.
Ayton’s motor was questioned on a nightly bases & would quit on his team. Ayton was surround by a championship level team.
I personally don’t think who is QB matters until we have a better o-line to protect said QB.
The funny thing is, none of our opinions mean a damn thing. It’s not like Monti is going to be scouring reddit before he makes his final decision on Kyler.
If you think Kyler needs to be traded, cool. If you think He’s the future of our franchise, cool. Now move on with your life and let Monti do his job.
