What’s your opinion when it comes to side projects and teaming up with others? I am struggling to decide if teaming up is better than going at it alone or not. Sometimes two heads are better, sometimes not, and two heads clash! So, how do you solve conflicting opinions regarding your projects?
Hey everyone I am new here, I have a burning question on my mind and thought this would be the best place to share it.
depends how big the project is. if you have a team, and know how to manage a project, you can go bigger in scope. i’d start with a solo project first, personally
I work best when I work solo.
I partenered on a project but it’s too difficult for me. Communication is hard, we do not have same values and expectations. And not at all the same mentality and way of seeing things/work.
In the end I lose more energy on this project where I am not solo, and move much much faster (and with less frustration) on the solo projects.
What are you building actually?
Like I’m a designer, if I have to build a SaaS product, I might need to partner up with a Developer. Or, I need to hire someone and do the work. I don’t have much technical knowledge it will be tough.
Plus, If you’re a developer, you might need a designer as a partner, to design the SaaS. Or, you can use some design library to release the MVP.
The questions is, what are you up to? What are your domain expertise?
