Messi is hailed as the most complete player of all time and he seems to excel at every facet of football from scoring, passing, playmaking, assist, vision, freekicks and ofcourse dribbling. Even his penalties which was something he was criticized for has been perfected at this point.

Aside from the obvious weakness in the air and with headers due to his height, what other imperfections does he have?

He was extremely good in his prime, yet not even close to Nazario de Lima. The latter was god of football, hands down (considered best ever by top players and coaches).

I’m pretty sure he must be weak against fire. Also I don’t think he could fight a grizzly bear.

Messi excels in dribbling but hasn’t displayed any flashy skills which although aren’t a necessity are a part of the game and help players.

He struggles with impromptu finishing moves like acrobatics or impressive angled shots.

Additionally, he has limitations with his weaker foot and isn’t particularly strong in heading ability.

Other weaknesses in his game include his proficiency in defensive contributions and physical strength is another weakness in his game

other than these he also struggles to play in a given random system and his playing style requires a team built around him to excel, he’s struggled when playing in different leagues with different styles and physical demands.

His attitude sometimes, esp during Barcelona collapses and sometimes for Argentina. When things aren’t going well he doesn’t lift the team
