    I know people hate Francesa but he’s dead nuts accurate here.

    If DeVito can’t throw, don’t put him in. Run the wildcat, having DeVito in is just a person who can’t block.

    As far as overtime goes, it’s first and twenty at your fifteen. If you can’t pick up a first down, you’ll lose based on field position. In that context, if you continue to run the ball, you will lose. Is letting DeVito pass risky? Absolutely. But it doesn’t matter because if you don’t, you’re going to lose the game.

    I was all with not letting him throw in regulation, he didn’t need to. But after a full half of nothing but runs, man, you’re not gonna keep running against a good defense. Especially with our roster. If he throws and it’s picked, well, whatever. We weren’t gonna pick up twenty on the ground anyway.
