… Would there be interest from Detroit to bring in Brandon Staley from LAC? It sounds like he’s going to be out of anything “short of a miracle” happens. I don’t know much about him, but he has some linebackers/Def coordinator experience. Was he successful in those positions and that’s how he got to HC job or did he get lucky with firing and he was just “best option at the time”?

Also, I’m sorry if this is a duplicate post to others. I’m bad at redditting 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

You can’t teach speed. Unfortunately the only way I see us getting better defensively is more wind sprints.

He’s supposed to be a defensive minded coach but their defense has been god awful and in spite of having a bunch of talent. I don’t want to see em interview him

I would try Dennis Allen once he’s let go from The saints.

Since we already brought in the people to Run his system, he’s just more experienced with it

Yes, I would want Staley as DC

Brad has a connection with him as well from the one year with the rams

    I’d rather have Wade Phillips

He was a better defensive coordinator for the Rams than Staley was, and did a better job as a head coach in 2023 than Staley

We need Robert Saleh to get fired, and no one offer him another HC position. If that were to happen there is a legitimate, albeit small, chance that he would consider a DC position on a team that is coming into power.

I believe Detroit could be that team.
