Our biggest holes are right now are in perimeter defense and defensive rebounding

Starting Dlo, Austin, and Prince is just too weak to crash the defensive glass. Regular szn Bron isn’t gonna go super hard on that end and you can’t depend on AD if he switches to the perimeter guarding PnR.

The second issue is we just don’t need dlo and Austin both starting. Even tho he was rough today, I’m still going Austin. The truth is that if lebron is playing less minutes (yeah right) he’s going to commandeer positions as an on ball creator and you don’t need 2 additional guys whose main role is the same thing

Lebron and AD have to be flanked w/ 1 creator and the rest as being scrappy players willing to play defense, crash the glass, and attack close outs / drive the offense within the flow of the game

This is where Vando being out is killer. Once he’s back I think we really have to look at Austin / Prince / Vando / Bron / AD

Also - general comment, we have to play bigger. That’s our identity. Double bigs, 3 wing lineups or 4 wing lineups. We clearly looked much better in the Wood minutes and the trio of Bron / AD / Wood is something we should lean more into into
