Ok, I have to say this because everyone has been losing their minds, once because they thought we will never lose again after gaem one, and now because they think the sky is falling.

Nobody knows anything. The perimeter is brand new with Jrue, Jevon Carter, and Allen.

Nobody has on the perimeter has any chemistry with anyone on the roster…

Also, this is a completely new offense. So, even if there was chemistry, thing would’ve been out of whack to begin with. Add both of these AND that you have a coaching staff that has no idea how the rotations can work, and you things nuts won’t work well for a while.

Add to that the fact that it’ll take Khirs close to 10-games to be in the rotation, and twice that to fully get his legs back, and you can understand why things are clanky.

Finally, the team just lost its offensive coordinator who has been organizing the whole offense. Everything and everyone do not know who things work and why.

This is the park where Griffin, his staff, and the roster, learn. I fully expect for this team be close to 0.500 for the first 20~30 games or so, and then rip everyone a new one.

It will take time. Just try not to freak out.

PS: As to why Griffin makes the decisions he is making. That’s because he doesn’t know! If his first time being a HC, and the top of the roster just completely changed with Dame coming in. He needs time to figure everything out, just like everyone else.

As I said before the season: there will be games like this and there will be games like VS Philly. I think people have to understand it won’t be 82-0

If he keeps doing it and it keeps not working we can get upset. Hopefully he tries a bunch of stuff to see what works.
