Tough loss. They killed us in transition - defensively still below average - and we killed ourselves by missing so many free throws (12 missed FTs).
-
AD: Great game. Defensive savant. Had no help on O all of 1Q-3Q.
-
Bron: 3 looks good, but played very passive 1Q-3Q. Turned it up in 4Q - glad to see that he can get to the rim at will.
-
Rui: Very unimpressive 1Q-3Q: unfocused, passive, and almost disinterested. Showed some life in 4Q. Disappointing season so far.
-
AR: Still looks off/quiet. Shot doesn’t look confident. Looks slow as a chaser. Given all of the above, I wonder if he’s a little banged up???
-
DLO: Saw him going under screens 1Q. Not impactful 1Q-3Q. Got it going a bit end of 3Q/early 4Q.
-
Gabe: Really good on ball D on Fox/Monk. Defense was better than expected.
-
Prince: Hustling on D but tendency to get back cut. B2B 3s in 3Q could have shifted momentum but we couldn’t buy a bucket.
-
Max: Surprised that he gets no PT at all.
-
Hayes: Did his job, but not memorable. Surprised not to see more lobs bc Kings are small.
-
Wood: Good D so far, spaced the floor (pair of 3s), running in transition in 1H. Looks great tbh. Not sure why he didn’t get much (any?) PT in 2H.
-
Cam: I get nervous whenever he puts the ball on the floor. I guess Ham got nervous too bc he didn’t play much.
