Minecraft has gotten exponentially more complicated since Microsoft’s acquisition and it’s honestly a bit too much for me. Felt like I had just grown out of it, but then I realized the magic for me was the simplicity.

I recently downloaded Beta 1.7.2. the last update before I stopped playing Minecraft consistently. It’s great, didn’t realize how much I missed the world generation, the sounds, the textures, everything.

Managed to play a few hours before my shitty laptop got too hot for my lap, nostalgic af. Minecraft is a completely different game nowadays.
