I dunno if anyone else had this issue with 1.18/1.19 created worlds, but I started on 1.18 and man… Mining for gold/diamonds/red ore/etc was terribly hard and absolutely painful to try to find… Even Iron was hard to come by. I was barely able to mine enough after weeks of searching just to make a full suit of iron armor…
But 1.20? Much much better… If you also started on 1.18 or 1.19 and haven’t created a 1.20 world yet, check it out. You will be glad you did. In this video I came upon this cave through a mine shaft that was in another pretty deep but very accessible cave system. Where I am standing here is -55.
