The NG+ aspect of the game should have been the focal point of the game and not the planets. Feels like Bethesda wanted to do something different than their other games but didn’t want to shift too much, so they half-did both aspects. I didn’t need or want Skyrim in space. I wanted Starfield to be its own IP with its own feel and design. To me, the variations should have occurred in each NG+ and been more varied, affecting characters and quests. Thinking about it now, the idea of going through universe after universe until you find one that you like and then staying there is an exciting concept.

I agree. Ultimately though I just feel like focusing the story on the NG+ >!multiverse !

What is weird is this was talked about long long ago, the problem is locking this idea behind 33 playthroughs is in many ways just stupid, and IMO the giant flaw of all of Starfield, awesome concept, and idea, but a horrible execution of it, and I do hope that DLC expands on this, the whole idea of playing the game over and over is very cool but come on 33 playthroughs to find a change, its too much, and just a lot of wasted potential.
