I am thinking about buying an Apple TV for my dad for Christmas but I have a question. He does not currently have a 4K tv BUT he will likely be upgrading in the future so I wanted to know, will the 4K version work outputting 1080p HD until he gets a new tv. OR does I bite the bullet and buy a new TV too. I’d still like to know about the original question tho, thanks!
