PC parts: ryzen 7 7700x, amd 6950 XT, 32 gb Ram

Wifi adapter (RZ616 wifi 6fe 160Mhz) on a MSI Pro B650 p mobo

My internet plan is up to 1000 mbps.

My work laptop is consistently in the 130s in the same room… however my PC is in the 10s-40s… on WIFI 5. Any suggestions?

I’ve tried Uninstaller the adapter and reinstalling, setting preferred band to 5…I recently turned off the surge protector without switching the PSU off, could that have short circuited the pc?
