I took my car into a chain mechanic because the check engine light came on. They changed out the coils for $1300. The next day, the check engine light came back on. Took it back in, said they were doing a valve adjustment but ended up replacing the fuel injectors for $1200. Check engine light came back on the next day. Currently sitting in the shop and I’m sitting here frustrated that they’re NOT FIXING THE PROBLEM AFTER IVE SPENT $2500. My car is a 2005 Honda pilot with 205k miles on it. Probably spending more on repairs than it’s worth. Anyway, has anyone had success filing disputes with their credit card companies for charging you for things that DIDNT WORK?!? I know not to file anything until the car is in my possession.
