New owner of the HD6xx’s here - I’ve seen a lot of comments around this sub saying “stop here” before you condemn yourself to an endless rabbit hole of cans.
Should I take this advice and stop at these? Are there any audiophile headphones that are truly worth an upgrade?
They can be if they match your preference. To me, they have a beautiful midrange but aren’t fun, so I don’t reach for them often. But it’s all subjective.
