If my math is right in all these close games a field goal would have given us a win he’s missed! Instead of firing the head coach maybe we start looking for a kicker or at least address this. I’m not counting the block in the Philly game but the 48 yarder. He used to be pretty automatic and it’s slipping lately.

    This is the only answer. I don’t get the people scrambling to defend mediocre kicking. Theyre not a charity. He’s making $2 million this year to make kicks. If he’s not doing that, why would they keep paying him? Part of it I’m sure is his contract. I think he has a $4 million cap hit if they let him go before the end of next season.

      He’s been among the best of the league since he was drafted. I’m not crucifying him after one off year that can easily be fixed by hitting his next few kicks.
