i stored a lot of photos on this disk drive i have a while back, and just recently i decided to open it up again and most of them are plagued by this grey distorted graininess, almost like static on a tv screen. please let me know if this is fixable or not.

    also this might be hardware flair instead idk if i can replace it

    i was able to find backups of the photos somewhere else so the problem is solved. it was probably impossible to fix anyway
