I am not a mechanic but I’ve been doing literally all my car work for years now not just oil changes, spark plugs, etc, but transmission is a whole new beast and I commend you guys that do this on a regular because WOW. Anyway I roasted my 3/4 so I’ve rebuilt/replaced everything forward of the sunshell, including that and sonnax shift kit and trans go seperator plate, but now I can not get the pump to seat. It goes in a little but still probably needs to drop a inch or so. When I get it in I hear something seat and it’s just stuck. The teflons are new and resized and everything is VERY lubed up but it will not budge! Please and thank you. Just for reference too it’s a 2000 so the bell housing is off.
