Hi,

I’m currently driving an Audi with the B8 V6 TDI engine from 2010, and it’s been remarkably durable and reliable. I’m looking into purchasing an Audi A4 from the B9 series, between the years 2016 and 2019. I noticed that there are quite a few variations of diesel engines, ranging from 140kW to 200kW+.

My questions are:

1.	Are all these new engines based on the same platform?
2.	How do they compare in terms of durability to my current 2010 B8 V6 engine which now has about 450.000km on it and still works great?
3.	I’ve heard some reports that the new 3.0 TDI engines aren’t as reliable as the older 3.0 engines from around 2010. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
4.	Additionally, what about the 2.0 TDI 140kW 190hp engines? Are they reliable?

I’d appreciate any insights or experiences you can share to help me make an informed decision.

Thanks in advance!
