Hello,

Looking for LGBTQ friendly countries that have decent left leaning people, good food, fun scene, nature, entertainment, quality of life. My wife (35F) & I (33F) are looking for recommendations. We have a sizeable nest egg, enough to move to almost anywhere & nice passive income. We would prefer to get a golden visa or something similar to get PR in that country but would need to keep our USC. We don’t need to work and our passive income will be coming in from the US. We will also keep our US residencies and go back annually. We are of eastern asian decent speak a few languages each. Not looking to work at other countries and can pay for healthcare in new country. We could also purchase in this new place so finding housing would be easier. We do travel a lot and would prefer a country we don’t have to be there most of the year. We like western countries or first world countries but are open to others. Thank you in advance.

Without knowing the languages you speak I think it will be hard for people to give good recommendations. In general I’d say it will be hard to beat NYC (where you already live). What about London?

I second London for ease of travel back home. We moved abroad with the intention of going back home regularly… but it’s just too much time and energy to want to do it often (Greece to west coast). If you like warm weather I’d also consider some Caribbean islands. I lived on one (that absolutely does not fit your other criteria) and there was a small lgbtq culture in the locals, and I had some same sex hookups with other expats- so they aren’t as backwards as ppl make them out to seem.
