I’ll go first: playing with other people in multiplayer who are geographically close to you would be very fun.
I think my favourite feature recently has been three easy Return to Monkey Island starts, with a quick “do you want a reminder of where you’re up to?” As a time of older gamer, I love this feature!
Proper difficulty balancing or making higher difficulties more interesting than just enemies with better aim, health and damage. I think bayonetta, dmc and ninja gaiden did difficulty best and make those games super replayable as on say the hard difficulty you will fight late normal difficulty enemies earlier and replace those late ones with new tougher ones, as well as making the higher difficulty’s being more so about mastering the game and it’s combos and weapons and how to tackle different situations rather than just cheap and lazy difficulty design that a lot of games sadly do of just cranking up number and worse is not testing it and is how we get abominations and near impossible games like world at war veteran or especially halo 2 legendary
finish the game then release it
Not shipping a game until it’s actually complete, rather than relying on patches to fix or just blatantly shipping an unfinished game.
No battle passes.
toggle key to switch between FPS and 3PS.
The high bar of accessibility settings in Insomniac and Naughty Dog games. I’m not even handicapped, but these things are such nice features to know they’re there.
Adjustable text sizes, and even better, adjustable HUDs in general. Not every game can do this, but how FFXIV does it where you can adjust the size and placement of every piece of the HUD is a dream come true.
It’s gotten better I feel like in the last couple years, but the switch from HD to 4K made all the text so freaking small I couldn’t play anything on the TV in my living room and had to go sit close to a computer monitor instead.

Quit to desktop. I don’t want to have to click ‘quit to menu’, watch a loading screen, then watch a menu launch animation, then click ‘quit to desktop’, then click yes I’m sure, then watch a game quit animation just to get back to Windows.

Any and all disability enhancements. The stuff naughty dog put in TLOU for example need to be replicated in to every game. Allow as many people as possible to play.

Official mod support.

A decent in-game photo mode. I’ll credit Ubisoft for having really good photo tools in their recent AC games, for example.
