I have HDDs for movies and pictures but they will not automatically load all the thumbnails in large folders when it’s open. I used to be able to open a large folder and then leave it for a bit to load all the thumbnails and come back and everything was good. But ever since switching to a Windows 10 computer it seems to only load the thumbnails in the visible rows and won’t load the rest until I scroll down to them and wait again. This is annoying as I have to manually watch it load now and then scroll and wait again instead of just opening it once and leaving it to load everything.

I have tried changing the Thumbnail Cache size from 500kb to 8mb in the registry but it still won’t load the thumbnails for the files not on the visible rows. Does anyone know if there is some other setting I could change?
