I take possession of a ‘19 M550 on Friday and am interested in connected drive. I went through some setup on the my BMW app to prepare, but was not sure I wanted to “activate connected drive.” It’s not clear to me what this is or what it gets me.

I’ve heard a ton about subscriptions from BMW, and from what I can gather this is related. But what I’ve not found is a list (for this specific vehicle / year) of what subscription options exist.

Beyond that what’s the communities perspective here. If I’m getting BimmerCode anyway is it best to just skip this - or even more strongly put. Should I skip this?
