Jude Bellingham has taken Real Madrid and World Football by a storm right now!
He’s gathered 15 goals + 4 assists in just 16 games for Real Madrid breaking the records of Puskas, Di Stefano and Ronaldo himself. All of this while just recently turning 20 years old, with his entire career ahead of him.
What he’s doing is unheard of, perhaps only Ronaldo Fenomenon himself had a better start to the season than him as a 20 years old.
The differentiator however is his impact in the game, he’s truly bossing the free role at Madrid contrubuting in goals, assists, key passes, dribbles, crosses, headers, flicks, finishing, playmaking, 1-2 passing, off ball movements, interceptions, tackles, positioning, strength, dominating, work rate and even leadership… There is truly nothing that this boy can’t do!
I genuinely cannot point a single weakness in his game right now, he’s top of the charts for almost all attributes since the start of the season. So these achievements so far in the season brings the question, What is his ceiling as a footballer provided he continues this streak? Generational? All-Timer? GOAT candidate?
His start in RM has been insane and he is passing Ronaldo’s record without even taking a single penalty is crazy. I just hope this keeps up after the winter break

If he can keep up the scoring I dont think there’s ever been a player as complete and versatile as him. So many “complete” players cant defend for shit

Injury free and Consistent?

Depends on who surrounding him. This is a team game. Any of you who watch Dortmund like I do would not have predicted this kind of production. Even when he was at Dortmund, he played with Haaland, Sancho, and Reus, but did not play at this level.
So, what changed? He moved to Madrid where every player is elite. Even the manager is elite who knows how to manage elite players. I predict his status will rise and fall along with the status of Real Madrid.
I think his ceiling will be All-Timer if he continues playing like this, but it’s really rare for someone in this generation to enter the likes of Messi,CR7 and Pele (mbappe is the only one that’s close).

While I agree with everything you said, as a Madridista, the reason he scores so much is because we don’t have a proper striker. If you watched yesterday’s game for example, both Rodrygo and Brahim go wide for most of the game, so Bellingham sometimes is an attacking mid, sometimes is a false 9 and when defending he is our 3rd CM.
If Real Madrid sign an actual striker up front (I don’t want Mbappe, but maybe Osimhen?) he is going to occupy that space, so Bellingham will eventually drop deeper.
It’s hard to think he’s gonna get better. He’s already crazy good. It’s consistency that’ll really make him great. Nobody expects the scoring to continue because it’s crazy but he’s the type to have a good game without having to score so he’ll be just fine when the scoring slows down.
It’s hard to tell. With English players, it’s difficult because they all start strong in ages 17-22 and then they either break or slow down to accept an “average good player” role. Look at Welbeck, Grealish, Foden, Rashford, Cole (Chelsea), Owen, etc. I don’t know what the ceiling could be because after the age of 22 then we will be able to see a more mature version of him and he will have decided where he wants his career to go to.
Right now at his age he obviously seems overly mature in his game style and personality so the future does look bright! But we’ve said that with many other English and non-English players. We just have to wait and enjoy his progression.
