Reading ESPN’s NBA Power Rankings (https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/38992803/2023-24-nba-power-rankings-tough-loss-laker-land-win-streak-phoenix-zion-catches-groove) today and I was surprised to see this mentioned “Riding a seven-game winning streak, Orlando is one of just two franchises never to have a 10-game winning streak in team history (along with the Wizards).”. I figured in the days of Penny and Shaq or Dwight/Hedo/Shard there would’ve been some 10 game winning streaks.
Games remaining to complete the streak are vs WAS (Dec 1) and @ BKN (Dec 2).
Tbh, I’m in favor of sitting Paolo (injury) and Isaac on Friday. We will need them on Saturday. Brooklyn is very physical and has experienced players. Can get hot from 3 too. Hopefully Poole doesn’t turn into Curry on Friday but I think we have the personnel to pull that one out w/o them.
Feel same, but tbh I don’t want to be the person to tell Paolo in case he feels good…
