Our team is 4th in total number of games coming down to the clutch with 10 (game within 5, 5 minutes left in 4th quarter/OT).
In the clutch our offensive rating jumps from an already amazing 118.4 (4th in the league) to an unbelievable 135.4 (1st among teams in the clutch).
The team tightens up defensively as well, going from 115.5 (21st best) normally to 95.8 (3rd best in the clutch).
Not too bad for a team with 2 regressing superstars and a bad coach right?

It would be nice to see 4 straight quarters of good basketball at some point this season. It almost seems like they don’t care about the first 43 minutes of the game, which is frustrating to watch as a fan.
It’s beyond frustrating to watch them play borderline stupid basketball for 3 quarters only to then take the game seriously at the end.
Think of it like this. The more they get used to late game come backs during the season, the more comfy they will be in the playoffs when those moments come, which are way more often in the playoffs. Better to be winning close games now and saving our stars from 48 mins of hard play so theyre not destroyed come playoff time
