I think everybody kniws this situation. Playing one boring quest after the other just for those few seconds fun here and there. Too often I continued playing until I realized that this game will never be fun (for me). Games like AC Valhalla or Starfield.
Something like a sunk cost fallacy for time. I guess I’m not alone with this. But just giving up on boring games was really a relieving feeling.
What are your games you are glad to have left behind?
This happens to me a lot. I think it’s a combination of getting older and the way games are designed now. I find it SO hard to get into a lot of RPGs these days. Like it’s always such an investment to get into them. Like I’ve tried so hard to get into BG3 but it’s so difficult for me, even though i know the game is objectively amazing.
