Like most of the sub here at one point or the other SMB owners like us have started to use generative AI to improve the productivity of our business.

As someone who’s closely following the developments in AI tools, I’ve noticed a trend where big companies like Microsoft (Copilot) and Adobe (Firefly) are starting to offer advanced AI capabilities predominantly to their top-tier paying customers. This shift has me worried about the accessibility of these technologies for small businesses and individual entrepreneurs.
What are your thoughts on the longevity of generative AI tools for small-scale users? Do you think these powerful tools will become exclusive to those who can afford the premium, leaving the small guys behind? I’m particularly concerned about the possibility of small businesses being priced out of using generative AI, which could have been a game changer for them.

I think it’s the opposite. Generative AI will get cheaper and cheaper, making it more accessible.
