Hi. I’ve had short time periods with Sennheiser hd800s, Audeze lcdx and Focal clear mg, but have just come to realization for me, that either I have very bad hearing for a 25 year old, or there really is not that big of difference between those headphones compared to my Sennheiser hd600 phones.
Would love to hear what gear you guys or gals have on you! My power feeder for the phones is rme adi 2 dac.
I actually not that recently had a chance to AB the HD600 and HD800s back to back and they are crazy different lol. I think you would have to have hearing loss at the higher frequencies to not notice how much brighter it is.
Seems like I ruffled some feathers of audiophiles. So sorry for having differing experience to you all. Seems like everyone has to have that same perspective as you.
