I spent hours yesterday trying to get the rockstar games launcher to work on my steam deck (because a rockstar key was the only way I could get RDR2 for around $20)

After a bunch of annoying shit involving having to add both the rockstar launcher and it’s setup EXE to my steam, I finally got it to work. Waited about 2-3 hours and the game was installed.

I played a bit of the game last night and had a good time. Then I went to desktop mode and I removed the SETUP for the launcher from my steam library cause I figured, hey, I’ve already installed it why do I still need the setup?

The next morning, the launcher no longer opened in steam.

Annoying as fuck. I had to redownload the setup and and add a new file of the launcher to steam. Frustrating but whatever

Then when I opened the launcher and signed into my rockstar account……it acted like the game wasn’t installed anymore. Even though I went to my SD card I sintalled it on and it’s still there. Every time I scanned it says no games found. FUCK. I should’ve just bought the $30 steam gift of the game. Fuck this.
