“Ultimate” All-Star is a term I made up that refers to a player that has more All-Star selections than the rest of his teammates combined. I’m sure the James Harden trade will happen right after I post this, but the season is almost here. Hope the formatting looks pretty good for everyone.
Highlights:
- Only the Warriors and Clippers players have more total All-Star selections than LeBron James.
- More than 60 players currently under contract have made an All-Star team.
- 102 of the 242 selections are taken by the old heads (Drafted before 2010).
- 144 selections come from the West. Over half of those selections are from California.
- Shoutout to DeRozan for almost having more than his 3 teammates combined.
- Only 5 teams don’t currently have All-Stars and all of those 5 had at least one on their rosters within the last few seasons.
- Brook Lopez has one more selection than Robin Lopez.

Trae Young really drags a team full of role players to the playoffs every year but still manages to get lumped in to tiers with dudes like tyrese haliburton lol
a star and roleplayers should be able to make the playoffs, that’s the expectation
Tyrese is better btw
