Obviously I think Shannahan would like to keep him at the right price, and Darnold isn’t going to be handed the reigns anywhere else.

So does that mean we are most likely keeping him until the status quo changes?

Only otger scenario I can think of is him signing with a team that has a less established starter, but given his history I don’t see anyone signing him as their first option.
