Let me preface all of this in saying I love Terry and he’s the face of our franchise until Howell becomes that guy.
However, I can’t help but notice he just never has a “pop off” game? I know QB play, team sucks whatever but you’d think by now we’d see a few 6-9 catches 130+ yard games? I get he’s a deep threat and EB spreads it around but damn I can’t say I’m ever like “wow” for Terry after the game.
Individual catches yes, he’s one of the best 1:1 catch it somehow guys on deep balls in the league. but he’s had ZERO 100 yard games this year. Howell leads the league in passing yards. And it’s not like he averaged a ton before (~3.5 average 100 yard games per year). Not a panic post but it kind of just hit me he never really has those, for lack of a better term, huge fantasy days (and no he’s not on my team lmao)

Yeah I’m happy if he stays and would also be happy to see him go to a contender and pop off. I think he’d be great on another team and is stunted by our perennial dysfunction as a franchise and mediocrity across the board on offense.
I think we would make AJ brown look like a bust if we drafted him tbh, that’s how strong our “suck” has been

He can’t throw the ball to himself. Howell’s been sacked 50+ times and the line doesn’t allow many deep routes.
