Heya, so I was trying to get Mod Organizer running on steam deck, specifically for fallout 4. It WAS starting and launching fine before I started fiddling? But then I installed steam tinker launch through protonup-qt. Followed most folks’ instructions, but could NOT get it to work. Then I don’t know what I did, but it wouldn’t launch anymore, which I didn’t realize until after uninstalling steamtinkerlaunch and was in the middle of trying to install the linux native version of mod organizer 2.

Now its broken, like perma borked. Ive uninstalled, deleted all game files manually, reinstalled multiple times, reinstalled on both my ssd AND SD card. NOTHING works, something is messed up I think with the steam installation? Or something is being left on uninstall that I couldn’t find before?

I even had double confirmation after I sold my steam deck LCD for an oled. Played it flawlessly from the sd card on brand new ssd, then I swapped my old 1 tb in to replace it, and back to being broken.

What happens is, you press play, I get some spinning, then it doesn’t even open and just stops trying to play. Can’t launch. Can’t even launch manually or adding a non steam game directed to the fallout4launcher.exe to get around it.

What could I have messed up?
