I’ve been playing a lot of serious and single player games, but I’ve recently realized I’m missing out on the community games, where you can have fun interacting with a group of players. Examples: WoW, Valheim, Old WC3, etc. Maybe I’m just getting old but I miss playing a new game and have a group of players to share good laughs with. Any suggestions?

GW2’s open world content structure lends itself very well to meeting people and having casual conversations. You often run around and hang out with large groups of players, even early on while leveling. Same goes for the WvW mode, where your server fights against other servers for castles and supply camps.

The community is also generally veeery nice and helpful. I think that’s because there is no time pressure or competition for quest mobs or rewards like in many other games. Your goals are always aligned, so the game gets better rather than worse with more players around you.
