KIRKO CHAINZ is over for the season and he may have played his last snap as a Viking (and possibly as a professional football player). So tell me why I should be hype about this young man who’s going to start at QB for us next week.

My assumption is that his backup is going to be Mannion, but also that Kwesi & KO have decided, based on Mannion’s remaining on the practice squad rather than being activated as either QB2 or QB3 since Mullins has been out, that he’s not really NFL-calibre. I’m also assuming that even if we bring in someone like Lance or (God help us) Tannehill, whoever we hire or trade for will not be up to speed on the playbook before 11/5.
