Hey guys, I recently got a 2x barlow lens in order to see jupiter and saturn more clearly. When I put it in with a 10mm or 20mm the focus does not seem to move backwards enough (when i turn the focus knobs, the eyepiece and barlow moves forward towards the telescope or backwards). I have searched the internet a ton and the only possible solution I have heard is to get an “extender” and I’m not sure what it is despite looking it up. I’m also not sure I want to spend too much money at this time.

I’m a beginner and have no idea what I’m doing 😂 some help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I use: Celestron Omni 2x barlow lens Celestron Astromaster 130eq And the eyepieces that come with the telescope
