I have an off-the-wall question drawn from a 1960’s comic book. A hero of the era, The Question (originally created by Steve Ditko, now published by DC), had a unique ride: a VW Beetle into which he had dropped an air-cooled Porsche drivetrain (I don’t know if he ever specified 356 or 911 as the source). Do you folks (particularly those of you who are into the older models) think such a thing would even be possible and driveable (ignoring modern emissions rules and the like)? Don’t worry, I am far too old and broke to even consider building such a thing myself.
