Try not to judge me for what feels like stupid questions, but I just feel confused about how this all works. I’ve launched a startup with services to start and have some traction there, but I have a product that I want / need to build to support the services. I’m not technical though I’ve been vp of product, so I know what I want to build and the general design. I’ve also been in this industry for over a decade so I have the subject matter expertise, industry reputation, and some connections.

I don’t understand how I find a technical co-founder without having funding (I’m bootstrapping right now and not taking a salary), and I can’t seem to qualify for funding or accelerators without a technical co-founder. It’s a chicken and egg. How does this work for others?
