Saw a post from yesterday morning by RotoBaller that was projecting the top 10 bust candidates for week 8. Here’s how the players on that list have done so far (PPR):
Russell Wilson: 17.56
Dameon Pierce: 4.6
Najee Harris: 10.5
Brian Robinson Jr: 9.9
DeAndre Hopkins: 34.8
Marquise Brown: 15.3
Amari Cooper: 14.9
Tyler Lockett: 22.1
Trey McBride: 25.5
With the 10th player on that list being Josh Jacobs. To me, I consider <10 points PPR a bust, and only 2 players have met that threshold from that list (With Robinson Jr only 1 yard away from 10 points).
I also feel like saying Pierce is going to be a bust for any week is a given, as he has only scored more than 7 PPR points 3 times this year and hasn’t scored more than 15 once.
Based off of this list, I would expect a good game from Jacobs today (>10 PPR), with a decent chance of him having 15 or more.
