Okay, SO! I am not a doomer. I am not on the trade Mitchell bandwagon (at least this season). BUT - it has become clear to me that there is something weird going on with this team and their chemistry this season.

This was a baffling loss. But I was at the game and wanted to point out some things I noticed…

In the 2nd or 3rd quarter (I think the 3rd but could be wrong), Niang was animatedly yelling at the team during a timeout. Guys were kind of just starting at him watching him talk. He clearly was frustrated.

TT seemed kind of out of it during the moments in the second half when we were letting go of the rope and the Blazers were making their runs. Just from the eye test.

On the court our guys also seemed frustrated with each other. On the court it seemed like there was bad body language all around. I saw Strus make several frustrated faces and gestures towards DG, they seemed disconnected, I saw Jarrett inexplicably just stop trying for stretches of the 3rd quarter, and at times it looked like Spida and DG were straight up moping around after a play went wrong.

Tonight it felt like Jarret let Ayton bully him.

Not to mention, the rotations and decisions to stick with lineups and guys that clearly DID NOT HAVE IT tonight were baffling.

I’m not a doomer and I DON’T think all is lost - but I might finally be on the Fire JB train.

Did anyone else notice this shit? From body language, to on the court and off the court impressions and our record so far, I think the chemistry on this team is just….off.
