I was about to upgrade from iPhone12 to iPhone15 Pro Max because of charging port issues. The lighting connector would wobble so my phone would stop charging or keep disconnecting from carplay. First world issues. Before buying I decided to see a “Genius”, who just cleaned the port and now everything works perfectly. However, I still want to fucking buy the iPhone15 Pro Max just to have a new toy, which I know will just give me a dopamine hit for a few days at most. I’ve already purchased online twice and cancelled right before entering the store. Do I need help? What kind?

    I’m into retail therapy as well.

    One option if you’re worried about “binging” in this case is to set a date to purchase, ideally a couple weeks out. Then you can tell if you have a need or if it was just a passing emotion.
