Today was a very tough loss and whatever you want to chalk it up to; Geno, Waldron, Carroll or the Refs. We need to remember that we are pretty far through our rebuilding phase we have a great receiving core, a good DB core that needs a little work and young talent scattered all across the team. I see a lot of people acting as if teams are just good off the bat and because we aren’t our organization is ruined. I get that it is annoying to have to wait literal years of your life until something you enjoy is good again but I think in the next couple of off-season’s if we play our cards right (which isn’t difficult) we should be back in competition. Hell we might just need this offseason I think our team is very good but we got a little to high of expectations at the beginning of the year when we were thrashing opponents and coming close to beating bigger teams. We aren’t at that level yet but we have only been improving at a rapid pace over these past couple of years and I don’t see that slowing down. Especially with how lucky we are to have this upcoming draft that is very QB heavy right when we need it (I personally think Geno is good but even I will admit he isn’t our answer but he would make a fantastic back up.) After cooling off from that Cowboys loss I am optimistic for our future (maybe not our season) but for the future of this franchise in the upcoming years.
