In brief, the sole purpose of these studios would be to make levels more or less, using engines such as Unreal. These levels would be then bidded and contracted to actual game studios who would then work out what to do with the levels in question for a title. In other words, this would make videogame levels a commodity which I’d imagine would be a boon to up and coming studios. Over the years of videogaming’s existence, I’m kinda surprised no one thought of making such a studio yet. What’re your thoughts?
